Hippeastrum johnsonii Bury (ഈസ്റ്റർ ലില്ലി)

This flower takes a lot of time to bloom. After the bud covering cracks, it may take 72 hours for the first flower to bloom. There are probably 5 flowers in one bud. The flowers seem to have a long life (more than 72 hours)

A bougainvillea twig planted upside down

A bougainvillaea twig planted upside down does sprout with branches, but to know how the young plant continues to grow you have to watch it grow. I will post its picture tomorrow. Good observers would immediately identify that this twig planted upside down by looking at the thorns.

The twig does not seem to be doing very well but is still green. The one that was planted upright has leaves growing larger. 

is it common to have two saplings from one mango dead?
